Loki Season 2: Tom Hiddleston Starrer’s Trailer Leaks Online

The exclusive trailer video of the upcoming second season of Marvel series Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston, was shown at the D23 Expo. Fans present at the event somehow snuck in their recording devices and the trailer has been leaked online. And fans can’t keep calm.

The D23 Expo is a three-day Disney fan event that took place from September 9 to September 11, 2022, at the Anaheim Convention Centre, USA. The fan event was graced by several stars featuring in Disney+ Hotstar and Hulu shows. The Enchanting Disney Legends Awards Ceremony was held there as well. Several films and trailers were shown exclusively at the event including the re-release of the 2009 science fiction film Avatar and the trailer of the second season of the Disney+ Hotsar series Loki.

The first season of Loki aired in June 2021 with six episodes (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar). The show is the third MCU television series after WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The beginning of Loki technically takes place during 2012’s The Avengers, An alternate version of Loki created a new timeline. Hiddleston reprised his role as God of Mischief in the series, which continues after Loki steals the Tesseract and an alternate version of Loki is brought into the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA). It is a bureaucratic organisation that exists outside of time and space and monitors the Sacred Timeline.

The leaked trailer features Loki meeting Mobius (played by Owen Wilson), who was an agent at the TVA specialising in the investigations of particularly dangerous time variants. The video further features the return of Sylvie (played by Sophia Di Martino) who is a variant of Loki and has enchantment powers. Last we saw Sylvie she had attacked the Sacred Timeline. And what got fans the most excited about the video leak is the first look of a new character played by Ke Huy Quan and a sneak peek of the variant Quantumania, Kang (played by Jonathan Majors), as war approaches.
