Since the brand new trio – Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor, and Bhavana Pandey – graced the Koffee couch on September 22, there has been a never-ending stream of conversation around it. While Khan returned to the couch after 17 years (first time without SRK in sight), the other duo appeared for the first time on the Karan Johar-hosted talk show, Koffee With Karan season 7. The episode was released on September 22, 2022 exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.

Ananya Panday Two-Timing

During the rapid fire round of the show on this episode, Johar asked Gauri Khan what her dating advice would be to Suhana. To which, Khan replied, “Never date two boys at the same time. Never.” Johar was quick to turn to Pandey to say that “I think Ananya (Panday) has done that already. I think she was oscillating in between." However, Bhavana cleared it and said, "No, she was thinking of two so she broke up with one," which left everyone in splits.

Maheep’s Marriage Advice: “Good Sex”

During the show, when Johar asked Maheep Kapoor for marriage advice for young Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, she said, “Who am I to give them advice? But obviously, good sex, good sex, good sex, and don’t share the wardrobe.” When he asked the same for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Maheep said, “Good sex, good sex, good sex, and baby duties should be equal.” While her advice for Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif on the same was, again, “Good sex, good sex, good sex, and Vicky has got Katrina, so it is all good in the hood, I guess!”

Gauri Khan Spoke On Aryan Khan's Arrest

“Nothing can be worse than what we have just been through,” said Khan regarding her son Aryan’s recent arrest. Last year, Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drugs case following a raid on a cruise ship. However, he got a clean chit from the NCB last year. Without naming Aryan, Khan said, “As a family, we've been through, I think nothing can be worse than what we've just been through, obviously, as a mother, as a parent. But today where we stand as a family, I can say that we are in a great space where we feel loved by everyone.” She also expressed her gratitude towards everyone who stood by the family at the time and helped them through it.

Maheep Opened Up About Sanjay Kapoor's Struggles

During the episode, Maheep mentioned her family living through the ordeal of eroding fame. She said, “There were times when Sanjay was sitting at home for years with no work. Money was tight. My kids have grown up seeing that along with the glamour and glitz.” She further added, “The people around me at times did make me feel like we were the unsuccessful wing of the Kapoor family.”

Suhana Spilled The Beans On Mother Gauri Khan’s Habits

Johar played an audio note from Suhana during the show that revealed some interesting facts about Gauri. Suhana mentioned that Khan enjoys comfortable clothing, so much so that she often brings home the pyjamas provided by British Airways and Jet Airways to wear at home as night dresses. She further described Gauri as a ‘momager’ who wants to see everything her kids post on social media. "She is also a kind of a momager, like she wants to see everything before everybody else can see it. Sometimes I am like ahhhhh let me just post one picture without showing it to you first, but I always send it to her because I know she is always right."
