Koffee With Karan 7: Karan and Shahid To Dance On ‘Dola Re Dola’ At Kiara’s Wedding

The eighth episode of Koffee With Karan premiered on August 25, 2022 and the audiences can’t keep calm to see the Kabir Singh co-stars, Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor, back together.

There was a lot of fun and of course the mention of the controversial film Kabir Singh and the most talked about Bollywood couple at the time- Kiara and Sid.

The “Big Announcement”

When there’s Advani on the couch and Johar’s curiosity about the personal lives of the Bollywood celebrities, the discussion of Sid and Kiara’s marriage was inevitable, especially after the last episode. Advani answered Johar’s curiosity about the couple’s alleged relationship and said she is not “denying or accepting”. When the filmmaker asked about their marriage, Kapoor said there will be an upcoming “big announcement at the end of the year and it is not a film.” Johar and Kapoor time and again kept mentioning how Advani is ready to get married.

Karan and Shahid's Dance Plans At Kiara’s Wedding

While discussing Sid and Kiara’s alleged relationship and when they are getting married, Johar and Kapoor self-invited themselves to the wedding. The filmmaker said he is from the ‘ladkewala (groom)’ side and Kapoor would be from the ‘ladkiwala (bride)’ and the latter says they will dance on 'Dola Re Dola'.

Kiara Advani Wins Rapid Fire On Koffee Debut

It is the first time that a debutant on the couch won the famous Rapid Fire round and that too while sharing the couch with a Koffee veteran who has graced the couch every season since the very first (seven times).

The much talked about 'Kabir Singh'

“We are not trying to say what is right or wrong, we are just trying to say this happens. As an actor I don’t always need to choose characters that are perfect or being good, I think acting is about choosing characters that are complex and challenging or representing life as it is,” said Kapoor regarding his film which faced backlashes.

Shahid and Mira’s Marriage

While talking about Kiara and Sid’s relationship and marriage, Johar asked Kapoor about how it was for him to marry his wife Mira Rajput who was from outside of the industry. And Kapoor couldn’t stop praising Mira and her presence in his life. He mentioned how his marriage changed him and she balances his life and that the marriage is the best thing that has happened in his life.

After watching the entire episode we just want to say 'Jugg Jugg Jeeyo' to both the actors.
