This new lineup, revealed during the recent “Glowtime” event on September 9, includes four models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The devices will be available for sale starting September 20, but eager customers can secure their orders now through various channels.

Starting from 5:30 PM IST, customers in India can pre-order the iPhone 16 series, which is launching simultaneously in over 50 countries, including major markets like the US, UK, UAE, and China. Pre-orders can be made through Apple’s official online store, at the Apple BKC store in Mumbai, the Apple Saket store in Delhi, and through authorised resellers across the country.

To pre-order your iPhone 16, visit Apple’s online store or head to physical Apple stores in India. Customers can select their desired model, storage option, and colour. Apple also offers a Trade-In programme that allows customers to exchange their old devices for credit towards the new iPhone 16, with trade-in values reaching as high as ₹67,500 for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

iPhone 16 Key Features and Upgrades

The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus come with subtle yet significant upgrades. The iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch display, while the 16 Plus boasts a larger 6.7-inch screen. Both models are powered by the new A18 chip, providing improved battery life and enhanced camera systems. They are available in five vibrant colours: ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black.

The Pro models, on the other hand, take performance to the next level. The iPhone 16 Pro has a 6.3-inch display, and the Pro Max features a massive 6.9-inch screen, both with thinner bezels. These models are equipped with the A18 Pro chip, delivering lightning-fast performance and increased power efficiency. Notably, the Pro models include a 48MP primary camera, a second-generation quad-pixel sensor, and a new 5x telephoto lens, previously exclusive to the Pro Max.
