The shift from the iPhone 17 Pro to the iPhone 18 Pro is like moving from a refined flagship to a next-generation powerhouse. Mechanical Iris: It is rumoured that the iPhone 18 Pro would include a variable aperture or a mechanical iris on its primary 48MP camera. This would allow the device to manage light intake in a physical sense, similar to a DSLR camera.
Telephoto Camera Upgrades: Although the iPhone 17 Pro boasts an 8x optical-grade zoom, it is rumoured that the iPhone 18 Pro would include a teleconverter to allow users to capture distant subjects with even higher image clarity and a faster aperture to capture zoomed-in low-light photography.
Selfie Camera Resolutions: Initial rumours point to a possible increase in selfie camera resolution from 18MP to 24MP using a Centre Stage sensor.

iPhone 18 Pro: Expected to start at a similar price of ₹1,34,900 to ₹1,39,900.
Availability: The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to be unveiled between September 3 and September 10, 2026.
