It is rather exciting news, India is all set to host the 71st Miss World Pageant after a hiatus of 28 long years. The organisers made the announcement for the big news via a post on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter on Friday, January 20, 2024.

The post on X shared by Miss World Limited read, "Chairman of Miss World, Julia Morley CBE stated 'Excitement fills the air as we proudly announce India as the host country for Miss World. A celebration of beauty, diversity, and empowerment awaits. Get ready for a spectacular journey!'"

The one month long beauty extravaganza will start off on February 18, 2024 and will conclude on March 9, 2024.

71st Miss World Pageant, Venue:

The Bharat Mandpam in New Delhi and the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai will host the 71st Miss World Pageant.

71st Miss World Pageant, Important Dates:

February 20, 2024 will see the hosting of the 71st Miss World Pageant’s 'The Opening Ceremony' and 'India Welcomes the World Gala' in New Delhi’s Hotel Ashok. It will be hosted by India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC).

• The Miss World Sports Challenge will be held in New Delhi.
• The Miss World Talent Final will be held in Mumbai.

• The Continental Beauty With A Purpose Challenge will be held in the Plenary Hall at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on February 21, 2024.
• The Head To Head Challenge Final will be held in the summit room at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on February 23, 2024.
• The Miss World Red Carpet Special will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
