Imagine Dragons And The Strokes To Headline Lollapalooza India In Mumbai

For the first time, Lollapalooza is coming to India, bringing a brand of distinctive, varied, and exciting musical flavours. With the first-ever edition in Asia, Lollapalooza promises to finally bring its multi-genre music experience to Indian borders. The music festival's debut announcement was made earlier this year in July. On January 28 and 29, 2023, Lollapalooza India, a two-day musical festival, will take place at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai.

The lineup for Lollapalooza India's opening season has finally been revealed. The much-anticipated lineup features more than 40 performers, four stages, and more than 20 hours of live music. The Strokes and Imagine Dragons will perform as the headliners at the first Lollapalooza in India in January 2023.

The Indo-Canadian rapper AP Dhillon, who ranks among the most streamed artists on Spotify in India, is one of the Indian acts on the list. Other Indian acts include popular rappers Divine and Prateek Kuhad, the rock band The Yellow Diary, and the metal band Bloodywood, whose album Rakshak reached the top 100 of the Billboard (Taylor Swift Creates History, Becomes First Artist With Entire Top 10 On Billboard Hot 100) Top Album Sales chart in March as a result of a global fan campaign.

Rock bands Greta Van Fleet and The Wombats, singer and Got7 member Jackson Wang, pop artists Alec Benjamin, Chelsea Cutler, Japanese Breakfast, and Raveena, dream-pop outfit Cigarettes After Sex, and electronic music producers Apashe, Diplo, Imanbek, Kasablanca, Madeon, and Zhu are among the international acts performing at Lollapalooza India. Several of these acts will be making their first appearances at a concert in the nation.

This renowned International Music Festival will make its Asian debut. Lollapalooza India is being promoted by BookMyShow, one of India's top entertainment websites. Tickets for the festival are only available on BookMyShow and will be released in phases.
