Apple is officially announcing its first major event of 2026. The Cupertino technology giant is hosting a special event on March 4, 2026, and the excitement has already begun to build among fans and observers alike. Rather than hosting a keynote at Apple Park, the firm is planning to deliver these experiences in major cities around the world, including New York, London, and Shanghai.
The event is set to begin at 9:00 am ET (7:30 pm IST), and Apple is expected to make announcements through its official online channels.
What's particularly interesting is that Apple's invitation to the event labels it as a ‘special Apple Experience’ and not a keynote. The invitation includes a bright 3D Apple logo consisting of yellow, green, and blue discs, which is already sparking rumors of colorful new hardware.

The most anticipated news leading up to the event is the potential launch of a much cheaper MacBook. As reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the colors used in the invitation correspond to the colors that Apple has been testing for a new entry-level laptop.
If the rumors turn out to be true, Apple may launch a MacBook that will cost between ₹50,000 and ₹55,000, which may make it one of the cheapest MacBooks that the company has ever launched.
Unlike the current MacBooks that are powered by Apple's M-series processors, the new MacBook may be powered by an A-series processor, just like the ones used in iPhones. The new laptop may come with a 12.9-inch display, an aluminum unibody, and new colors like blue, yellow, and pink. The new MacBook may be targeted at students and first-time buyers who want to experience the Apple ecosystem without paying the hefty price tag.

Apple may also launch the iPhone 17e, which will be the successor to the iPhone 16e. This device is expected to bring the new A19 processor, MagSafe technology, and reduced front bezels. But rumors indicate that the camera setup and notch design might see little to no changes.
Coming to the tablet segment, upgrades are expected to roll out soon. The iPad Air is expected to come with the M4 processor, but the design might remain the same as the existing model. Alongside this, Apple may launch the 12th-generation iPad, which will be fueled by the A18 processor that made its debut in the iPhone 16 series.

Although Apple has been said to have postponed the release of a completely revamped Siri, it appears that the company is still working on upgrading the virtual assistant. The tech giant is rumored to release iOS 26.4, which will feature significant improvements to Siri. It is also believed that Apple will incorporate Google's Gemini AI into Siri as part of a major partnership deal.
With rumours of new hardware and AI upgrades in the works, Apple's event in March 2026 is expected to lay the groundwork for the rest of the year. Whether it's a budget-friendly MacBook or more intelligent software experiences, it's clear that the tech giant is ready to expand its influence while continuing to innovate.
