Hrithik Roshan Slams Reports Of Moving In With Saba Azad

The superstar asked reporters to do a more responsible job, while slamming reports of moving in with Saba Azad.

Hrithik Roshan, the superstar who made his name in the industry with his debut film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, slammed the fake news reports that claimed he and actor Saba Azad were set to move in together soon.

The actors are rumoured to be dating. They were spotted together on a dinner date in February. Later, Azad joined Roshan’s family for a get-together. Finally, they made their relationship official after attending Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash together.

A media organisation had published an article claiming that the duo will be moving in together into an apartment building called Mannat, which had two top floors that were being renovated.

However, Roshan, through a tweet, wrote that as a star he is well-aware of the curiosity around his private life, but it is not good when misinformation gets circulated in the news.

He wrote, “There is no truth to this. As a public figure, I understand I’ll be under the lens of curiosity, but it’s best if we keep misinformation away, especially in our reportage, which is a responsible job.”

Battling misinformation

The report suggested that Roshan has spent approximately ₹100 crore on the two apartments spread over three floors. They wrote that the place is located near the Juhu-Versova link road in Mumbai. Reportedly, the apartments are spread over 38,000 sq ft.

A source close to the couple said that they “are in a happy place” and are focusing on work. “There’s no truth to the stories of Hrithik and Saba moving in together. They are in a happy place now and this is definitely not on their minds.”

The source added that they are both currently busy focusing on their respective work commitments.

Azad has recently finished the production of the second season of the Sony Liv series Rocket Boys, which received critical acclaim for its first season. Meanwhile, Roshan is busy filming Fighter, which is deemed to be India’s first aerial action film.
