- Step 2: Once done, you will get an incoming message with a Unique Porting Code or UPC and its expiration date.
- Step 3: Note down the Unique Porting Code or UPC and its expiration date, and visit your closest Reliance Jio store or retailer.
- Step 4: You need to make sure you carry valuable documents like your original Aadhaar Card or original Proof of Address (POA)/Proof of Identity (POI) with you. These documents are essential to place an MNP request.
- Step 5: Once done, pay the porting fees if applicable, and then you will be provided with a new Jio SIM card. You will soon receive a message stating the completion of the SIM porting process.
- Step 6: Make sure to replace your old SIM card with the new one to complete the process.

- Make sure to clear all your pending payments with Vi.
