House Of The Dragon episode seven started with Laena’s funeral, who died in episode six while struggling to give birth to her third baby. She went to Vhagar and commanded Dracarys, a request to burn her and her unborn child alive.
While Lord Corlys and Princess Rheanys Targaryen mourn the death of their only daughter, Dameon stood still away from the crowd. Meanwhile, Lord Corlys’ brother performed the last ritual, where he called the Velaryon blood thick and pure. It nearly sent chills down the spine of Rhaenyra Targaryen. At the same moment, King Viserys saw her and her sons standing together, making it evident that he knew the kids were not Velaryons by blood.
Ser Lionel, the man we saw reaching Alicent Hightower after the death of Ser Harwin and the King’s Hand. He kept staring at the Queen whom Ser Criston Cole was protecting.
Lord Corlys and Princess Rheanys Targaryen Know The Truth

In a scene where Corlys and Rheanys were talking beside the fire and discussing the fate of their two granddaughters. However, Corlys said that the history did not remember blood but names, making it a slight pass at the fact that they both know Rhaenyra’s sons are not Velaryon blood.
Rhaenyra & Daemon Reunite
Taking a walk down the beach, Rheanyra and Daemon reunite. Talking about Laenor, she said that after the death of his sister he would be useless. She, however, mentioned that even though her marriage was a hoax, she tried her very best to set the premise and act like a happy family in front of the world.
Daemon told her that she had a lot at stake to lose. She agreed that since her father named her the heir, she had to keep up with her duties to the kingdom. She and Laenor even tried to conceive a baby naturally. It did not work out in their favour. Daemon agreed that Ser Harwin was quite devoted to her.
Vhagar Got Stolen

In the next scene, Alicent and King’s second son Aemond was seen flying on the back of Vhagar, which seems to be grieving the loss of its rider.
However, Baela, Laena’s eldest daughter woke up Jace to tell him that someone had stolen Vhagar. When Aemond returned, Baela accused him of stealing the dragon.
He coldly accepted the claim and said her mother was dead. If she wanted to claim the dragon, she should have done it by then. The kids get into a fight with everyone ganging up on Aemond, who ended up losing his left eye.
Alicent & Aegon Are Questioned
When the King questioned the truth of the event. Rhaenyra came forward to tell him that Jace and Luke were insulted and called ‘bastards’. However, Alicent questioned that Aemond had to lose an eye merely over an insult.
The King asked Aemond who had fed him all those lies. He pointed at Aegon. He said that everyone in the kingdom knew that Rhaenyra’s kids were not Velaryon blood. He asked his father, ‘Just look at them.’
Alicent Embarks On An Ugly Game

In the middle of the heated discussion, Alicent lost her composure and attacked Rhaenyra. Though she stopped her, but told her, “All will see you for what you truly are.”
In a chamber, Alicent met her father. She told him that everyone would think she was a disgrace to the family. He told her that he never saw that side of his daughter, and she was determined to win this ugly game.
Laenor Promises To Be A Better Father
In a heart-to-heart conversation, Rhaenyra told a shattered Laenor that he was an honourable man with a heart of gold, a rare human to find. She even told him that their sons were called bastards.
Reminding Rheanyra about their agreement long back, Laenor told her that duties and happiness might not exist together. He promised her to devote himself to his family and her. He told her that they both need to prepare her for the ascension to the throne, and he would raise his sons to be the greatest princes of realms.

Rhaenyra And Daemon Plan Laenor’s Murder

Daemon told Rhaenyra that they could not be together unless Laenor is dead. She needed his help to ascend the throne as she knew that when the time would come, she would face the challenge.
She convinced him that they should bind their blood as Aegon the Conquer did with his sister. She wanted him by his side as her husband and was determined to do anything for it to become the reality. They plan another bloody wedding.
He went to meet Ser Quarl and told him that beyond the Narrow Sea, there are places where gold resides over the name a man carries. He handed him something and asked for a quick death for someone.
In the next scene, Laenor finds himself against Ser Quarl. The two had a sword fight, and the attendant went to alert the guards. Corlys and Rheanys enter the hall, where they find a body burning in the chimney fire. They presumed it to be their son's corpse.

Rhaenyra and Daemon Marry
In the next scene, Rheanyra and Daemon are seen together tying the knot. In the presence of their kids, they swear to be husband and wife.
In the last scene of House of the Dragon, Laenor and Ser Quarl escape the Narrow Sea to be together for a lifetime.
In the next episode, we will get to see how the King would react to this news. It will be an interesting turn of the table because now Rhaenyra has a husband who would go to any lengths for her.
