Corn Starch Glue
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup of tap water
- 3 tablespoons corn syrup
- 2 teaspoon vinegar
- 2-3 tablespoons corn starch
- 3/4 cup cold water
Steps
- Take a saucepan, add water, corn syrup, and vinegar. Stir well together.
- Switch on the stove and bring the mixture to a full boil.
- Take a separate mixing bowl, filter corn starch in the bowl, and add cold water. Stir to make a consistent mixture.
- Mix both the solution together in a saucepan on the stove. Boil and continue cooking 1 minute.
- Lastly, allow the mixture to cool. Store it in a tight container.
Milk Vinegar Glue
Ingredients
- ¼ cup lukewarm water
- 3 tablespoons powdered dry milk
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- Cotton cloth
Steps
- In a mixing bowl dissolve the powdered milk in lukewarm water.
- Add vinegar. You will notice milk separating into chunks of curds and whey. Stir until the milk has completely separated.
- Use cotton cloth to filter the mixture. Discard the liquid and keep the solid curd.
- Now, add baking soda a few drops of lukewarm water. Your solution will now react with baking soda and will cause some foaming and bubbling. Store the glue in a covered container.
Simple Flour Glue
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- Water
- ½ teaspoon salt
Steps
- In a medium-size bowl, add water and flour.
- Stir well until you get the desired soft and sticky consistency.
- Lastly, add salt to prevent any mold or chunks. Once done, store the paste in a sealed container.
Vinegar Gelatine Glue
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoon gelatine
- ½ tablespoon sugar
Steps
- Heat a saucepan. Add vinegar and boil for 2-minutes.
- Add in the gelatine, stir until it is completely dissolved.
- Pour sugar and stir for 3-4 minutes. Once the consistency is thick and sticky turn off the flame.
- Let is cool down for several hours. Pour in a glass jar and place it in the refrigerator.
Flour Sugar Glue
Ingredients
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup of sugar
- ½ teaspoon alum
- 2 cups of water
Steps
- In a medium-size bowl, filter the flour and mix all the ingredients.
- Pour the mixture in a saucepan. Turn off the stove and cook on medium heat for 5-minutes.
- The mixture should turn clear and thick. Store in a small airtight jar, so that doesn’t get exposed to air.
