Blankets Doormat

- Old blanket
- Thread
- Needle

Steps
- Lay the blanket on a plane surface. Using a measuring tape mark 60 x 90 cm in you want a rectangular doormat. For circular one, roughly cut a square, find a mid-point and by using a thread and chalk make a circle.
- Once done, using a pair of a sharp knife cut the blanket.
- Now thread the needle, tie a knot in the end and begin stitching.
- You want to lock all the threads, so its best do use chain stitch.
Pompom Doormat
Supplies
- Woolen threads
- Adhesive
- Old doormat
Steps
- To make pompom balls use woolen threads.
- Circle the thread on four finger. Take it out, tie the centre. Cut the edges from both sides and spread making a ball. Repeat for making many more.
- Now, simply stick all the balls as you want on the old mat using adhesive and you’re done.
Bottle Cap Doormat

- Plastic bottle caps
- Rubber solution
- Old Mat
- Sandpaper
Steps
- Starting by removing rough edges from the surface of the mat using sandpaper. Once done clean it with brush or cloth.
- Arrange bottle caps next to one another closely. Pick and paste after you are done organising.
- Began in one direction so you don’t miss any. Let it dry for 2-3 hours.
Jute Bag Doormat
Supplies
- Large jute bad
- Contrasting fabric
- Hot glue
- Pair of scissors
Steps
- Cut the jute bag to make two separate pieces. Keep it aside.
- Pick up the contrasting fabric, measure the length and breadth of a doormat to cut four strips.
- The strips should be 4 inches thick. Now, take your jute piece lay on a plane surface.
- Take the first strip, apply glue and stick on one side. Repeat the procedure for other sides too.
- Once done, fold and place under a heavy object.
Old Cloth Doormat

- Old colourful fabric
- Wool stuffing
- Thread
- Adhesive
Steps
- You have to make small pillows. So start by folding the fabric and cutting all pieces at once.
- Now make pockets using two separate fabric pieces. To make pocket stitch two pieces together. Prepare at least 25-30 pillow pockets.
- Fill wool stuffing inside all and lock by stitching the opening.
- Take one pillow and start sticking other pillows around it, creating a circle. You can also make different shapes as per your wish.
