Wall clocks have been used for ages to help keep people on time. There must hardly be any household that does not have at least one clock. In fact, people have one in every room of their home. Not only it is an essential lifestyle item, but also a classic piece that tends to increase the beauty of the space. However, we don’t buy wall clocks that often. While some clocks are gifted, some must be hanging on the walls for ages, crying for enhancement. Crockery Plate Clock
Supplies
- Cutlery Plate
- Clock kit (of an old clock)
Steps
- Mark the centre of the plate. Make a small hole using a drilling machine.
- Take the back portion of the clock kit. Stick it through the hole so that the metal portion is pushed all the way in.
- Lock the front part, the one with hands on the front side of the plate and you’re done.
Rope Clock
Supplies
- 5-meter jute rope
- Hot glue
- Clock kit
- Red Paint
- 2 Flat Paint Brush
Steps
- Take your jute rope and start folding in the circular motions to give it a shape of a round plate. For better, tight and better circles do the process by placing jute rope on a plane surface.
- After every round, keep applying hot glue. Let it dry for 30-minutes.
- Once done, turn it over, in a zigzag pattern apply hot glue. Using a paintbrush evenly spread the glue. You can also stick a newspaper on the back for making the clock strong.
- Let it dry for another 3-4 hours.
- Now, take the back portion of the clock kit. Pass the middle tip through the centre pushing it all the way in.
- Lock the front part, by attaching the hands of the clock to the back. Lastly, using paint colour draw digits as per desire.
Plaster Of Paris Clock
Supplies
- 250 grams Plaster of paris
- Two-inches thick plastic box
- Thin stick
- Water
- Bowl
- Clock kit
Steps
- In a bowl make a thick paste of plaster paris. Add 250 grams of pop and ½ cup water. Mix well.
- Pour the solution in the plastic-box. Make it even. Quickly take a thin stick place in the centre to make a hole. Let it dry overnight.
- Take the back part of the clock kit. Pass the middle tip through the hole.
- Lock the front part, by attaching the hands of the clock to the back.
- Design according to your wish.
Photo Collage Clock
Supplies
- 8 family photos
- Double side tape
- Clock kit
Steps
- On a plane wall, begin by pasting the clock kit using double side tape.
- You also extend the hands of the clock by pasting black paper or cardboard on it. Just cut the hands in thin pieces.
- Now, sketch a circle using thread and pencil. Hold one end of the thread in the centre and tie a pencil to the second end to use it as a compass. Make a circle.
- Mark 8 points leaving equal space in between. Paste the photos using double side tape.
Notebook Clock
Supplies
- Notebook (the one that has hardcover)
- Clock set
- Sharp object to make a hole
Steps
- Make a hole in the middle of your notebook using a pen or any sharp object.
- Now just lock the front part, by attaching the hands of the clock to the back and you’re done.
