It has just been a month, since talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput left us all. But, his friends and fans are still paying tributes and remembering him for the sweet and charming person he was. Seems like, ahead of the release of his film, Dil Bechara, his co-stars are missing him more and more. Recently, Swastika Mukherjee, who will be seen essaying debutant Sanjana Sanghi’s mother in the flick shared a happy video with the late actor that made our hearts warm.
On Sunday, Swastika took to her Instagram to share an unseen video while remembering Sushant. In the video, both can be seen smiling, dancing, and singing the soulful song, which is from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. Clad in a black t-shirt and shorts, the 34-year-old star seems to be enjoying dancing on his favourite star’s melody to the fullest.
Swastika also revealed that Sushant shook the legs with Sanjana on the same song and thereafter decided to dance with her as well. “HE danced with #kizie [Sanjana Sanghi’s character’s name in Dil Bechara] and then HE danced with me :-) . . I’d like to remember Sushant like this. Always. Simple. Fun loving. Jovial. Keep dancing with the stars, boy. Love. Thank you, Mukesh @castingchhabra for capturing this beautiful moment. I will cherish this forever,” she wrote alongside the video.
The video that garnered 272,945 views until we last checked, also received some of the most touching messages from his fans. “Though much older to him but had a crush on him, I use to find his smile infectious💕. Heart pains even more. Good things don't stay on this earth for long it seems..... looking at the present situation....it seems the world on the other side must be really peaceful,” commented one of Sushant fans on the post. “He is always my inspiration, the way he gives wings to his dreams, the way he learns physics , the way he learn space science , the way he crossed each and every step in his life ...he inspired me a lots...😭💔...star never die 💔 miss #ssr ,” wrote another fan of the star.

This is not the first time that Swastika Mukherjee will be sharing the screen with Sushant Singh Rajput. Back in 2015, she worked with the late star in Dibakar Banerjee directorial, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. While many were expressing grief over Sushant’s untimely death on social media, Swastika opted to grief in silence, post his death. But, she was trolled for the same. The actor clapped back by posting a lengthy note saying, “every person has a different coping mechanism.” Swastika also talked about the same during an interview with a regional channel and said, “We live in a country, where we don’t even leave the dead aside.”
Apart from this, she penned a moving message, describing “amazing co-actor and human” Sushant Singh Rajput was. “I remember Sushant with a smile that would steal hearts. A person who would cheer up a dull day. A thinker, a believer, an amazing co actor and human. Someone who would say- ‘Arey, tension mat ley yaar, sab theek ho jaega!’ Sushant, our Manny, this is for you. Some journeys stay with us beyond our lives and this will forever be etched on my heart,” read her post.
