According to Pandit Arvind Tripathi, the full moon of Kartik month will begin on November 15, 2024, at 6:19 am and conclude on November 16, 2024, at 2:58 am. Based on the Udaya Tithi, this year Dev Diwali will be celebrated on November 15, 2024.

This year on Dev Deepawali, the auspicious time to light lamps is on November 15, from 5:08 p.m. to 7:47 p.m., offering a favourable period of 2 hours and 39 minutes for the ritual.
Dev Deepawali celebrates Lord Shiva’s triumph over the demon Tripurasur, marking a significant victory and restoration of cosmic balance. Also known as Tripurari Purnima, it highlights Shiva’s role as the ‘destroyer of Tripura,’ with the full moon representing divine intervention for peace and righteousness.
