Ranveer Singh gets ‘sweet revenge’ after Deepika Padukone puts ‘husband’ label on his forehead

Bollywood’s power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are defiantly making out the most of this lockdown together. While other celebrities are busy cleaning and exercising, these two are busy making their bond stronger than ever. Deepika and Ranveer’s social media is proof of this. Where on one hand the actress is giving us sneak peek of all the activities she is doing during this period, her husband has been sharing the most adorable and fun snaps. The duo’s recent Instagram posts have turned out to be the most hilarious yet sweet to date.

It was the Tamasha star was having fun with her husband and was the first one to share a picture of the actor. She put a label reading “husband on Ranveer’s forehead while he was sleeping and clicked a snap. As the actress seems to be on a mission to rearranging everything in her house, she was making labels for separate household things. While doing so she makes a label also for her beloved husband. “Season 1:Episode 7: & while I was at it...💁🏽‍♀️ @ranveersingh #wannabemariekondo #thinkitookittoofar 🤦🏽‍♀️ Productivity in the time of COVID-19!😷,” she captioned the post.

Commenting on his wife’s post, the actor already dropped a hint that he will be taking sweet revenge very soon. “Hmmm. Marie Kondo ki bacchi, you have taken it too far indeed. Dekh lunga main tujhe ...,”wrote the actor. Deepika’s sister has also commented on the Instagram post. “Best episode so far. Scriptwriter deserves,” read her comment.

After a few hours, the Gully Boy star posted a sneaky picture of his wife as she was savouring Nutella right from the jar. But the jar was not the ordinary one, it was a customised jar that has ‘Khilji’ written on it. Reportedly, the special Nutella jar was a very special gift to Ranveer. Not just one, but the actor had received a total of three jars with his most iconic characters’ name printed on it.

“In the dead of the night, she devoured Khilji ! Revenge is sweet indeed ! 😆 #sneakysneaky #caughtintheact @deepikapadukone,” the 34-year-old star captioned his Instagram post that also had the most hilarious comments. While comedian Ashish Chanchalani wrote, “Ranveer bhaiya, mumbai ka saara nutella aapne khareed liya kya?” another fan said, “And that's how Rani Padmavati ended The दुष्ट (evil) khilji.”

The couple worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2018 blockbuster Padmaavat. In the flick, Deepika played Rani Padmavati, whereas her husband essayed Alauddin Khilji’s role. Meanwhile, on the work front, the two were all set to share the screen space in their upcoming sports drama, 83. However, given the current pandemic of the novel coronavirus, the flick got postponed.
