The wait is finally over for students eagerly anticipating their Class 10 results from the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE). Today, at 12:30 pm, the Board will unveil the long-awaited scorecards, allowing students to access their performance online through the official websites, cgbse.nic.in and results.cg.nic.in.
CGBSE Board Class 10th Result: How to Check Result Online
- Step 1: Visit the official website — cgbse.nic.in
- Step 2: On the homepage click on 10th result 2024
- Step 3: Enter your credentials such as date of birth, name, and registration number or roll number.
- Step 4: The result will appear on the screen.
- Step 5: Save and download the result for future reference
However, to obtain the original mark sheets, students will need to visit their respective schools a few days after the result declaration. To access the results online, students must have their roll code and roll number handy. Last year, the Board exam results were released between March 1 and March 31, with the class 10 results being announced from March 2 to July 14, 2023.
The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education conducted the class 10 exams in a pen-paper mode from March 2 to March 23, with approximately 2.5 lakh students appearing for the examinations.
In the previous year, the passing percentage for class 10 exams stood at 74.23 percent, while for class 12, it was 79.30 percent. A total of 2,89,023 candidates had registered for the CGBSE class 12 exams in 2021, with 2,86,850 appearing for the exams. The result was declared for 2,84,107 candidates, while 341 students were scheduled to receive their results later.
Students who fail to clear the exams will have the opportunity to appear for the Board compartment exams, with information about these exams to be announced after the CGBSE result declaration. Additionally, students will have the option to request photocopies of their answer booklets and OMR sheets.
