A woman is the constant muse and minstrel either to a poet, an artist or a musician. Hence, she is typified to be the prettier-than-perfect angel from a heavenly abode. This stereotype attaches extra baggage on the women as they are forced into believing that the essence of what they need to be in life is beautiful.

From a tender age, women are brought up with wisdom passed down by their beloved parents, families and relatives that they need to sit with their legs placed together like a lady and basically not sit boisterously like a man. The Academy award winning actor voiced her opinion out loud as she said, “If I could turn back the clock, I would have used my voice in a completely different way. Don’t make it harder than it already is, that is bullying and also borderline abusive.”
The actor condemned the hoo-ha created around looking perfect on red carpets and the expectation from celebrities to look a certain way. She lashed out at the usage of the word ‘svelte’ dubbing it as cruel. She burst the bubble about celebrities and pointed out even celebs do like eating a bag of chips, farting and not being a certain body type unlike societal expectations.
