Dear Bigg Boss lovers here is some great news even though rumoured! ThatBigg Boss 13 is getting an extension by two weeks and will now have a finale at the end of February! Colors TV and Endemol have reportedly decided to extend the show and what was going to conclude in Jan initially when the reality TV show started, will be ending in Feb end which makes it a total of 5 week extension.
A digital entertainment website ran a report that the channel and the bosses at Bigg Boss will be paying Salman Khan extra Rs 2 crore per episode for hosting the show which has caught the entire nation's attention.
An insider told the website: “Salman made it very clear that he didn’t want to extend his stint on Bigg Boss due to his other film commitments (shooting of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai). However, the channel Colors has lured him to stay on with added zeroes on his paycheck.”
Earlier the buzz was that Salman, who has been hosting Bigg Boss since season 4, is being paid Rs 13 crore per week (Rs 6.5 crore per episode). This time if the rumours are true, he will get Rs 8.5 crore per episode, and take home a sum of more than Rs 200 crore for the entire season.
“Each year he initially refuses to return to Bigg Boss. Every time he’s lured back with an enhanced remuneration. He gets paid more to anchor Bigg Boss per season than all the other anchors in regional languages put together get for all the seasons put together,” the source added.
Bigg Boss 13 features only celebrity contestants and no commoners.
