Athiya Shetty Breaks Silence On Wedding Rumours With Boyfriend KL Rahul

On Wednesday, actress and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty addressed rumours about her upcoming nuptials to cricketer KL Rahul on her Instagram account. Although the two have been dating for a while, this is not the first time that online rumours about their wedding have popped up. However, neither Rahul nor Athiya has ever addressed marriage plans publicly.

Athiya and KL Rahul have largely avoided discussing their relationship publicly. However, the actress did respond to the rumours of a "wedding in three months". The actress shot down the rumours on her Instagram story with a subtle jab. Shetty wrote"I hope I’m invited to the wedding that’s taking place in 3 months. Lol.”. Actor Suniel Shetty was recently questioned about the rumours surrounding the wedding, whether planning for it had started in the family yet. He responded, "No, nothing has been planned yet," to Radio Mirchi.

Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty has been dating cricketer KL Rahul for more than three years. Rahul is the vice-captain of the Indian national team and the captain of the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants. The couple's wedding rumours have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. But the couple and their families have refrained from making things public, if at all there is any truth to the rumours.

Athiya and KL Rahul have been open about their relationship. They have shared photos of one another on social media. They have been seen together at several events and movie screenings. Moreover, it seems like KL Rahul has a good relationship with Athiya's family. He even went to the Tadap premiere and posed for photos with them. Athiya was last seen in the film Motichoor Chaknachoor along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Athiya and Rahul recently travelled to Munich together, where Rahul underwent surgery. Over the weekend, several reports claimed that Athiya and KL Rahul will tie the knot soon, most likely within the next few months.
