The 'Master Blaster's' house is in a celebration mode as his son, cricketer Arjun Tendulkar, tied the knot with his longtime partner and entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok in a grand ceremony today, March 5, 2026. The star-studded ceremony took place at The St Regis Mumbai in South Mumbai, curated by Eternity by Trinity.
The wedding, titled 'SaaJ', a blend of the couple's names, started with grand pre-wedding celebrations on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, hosted by the Ambanis. The vibrant Punjabi Mehendi celebration came alive at the Royal Western India Turf Club. The venue was transformed into an elevated carnival-inspired experience, layered with bold colour palettes, rich textures, and immersive movement, striking a refined blend of festive exuberance and thoughtful elegance.
Additionally, guests were invited to explore the Mehendi Bazaar Gifting Experience, where personalised tote bags were curated at beautifully designed stalls featuring bangles, bindis, artisanal bath salts, lip balms, authentic mukhwas, and aam papad sourced from Amritsar, turning gifting into an interactive cultural moment.

Close family members, friends, and distinguished leaders from sports, business, and entertainment attended the grand celebrations. Notable attendees included Amitabh Bachchan, Nita Ambani, Mukesh Ambani, Akash Ambani, and Shloka Ambani. The high-profile gathering also featured Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, with daughter Suhana, Farhan Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jay Shah, Devendra Fadnavis, and Raj Thackeray. Cricket legends MS Dhoni, Ravi Shastri, and Zaheer Khan, with Sagarika Ghatge, joined Yuvraj Singh with Hazel Keech, Harbhajan Singh with Geeta Basra, and Irfan Pathan with Sara Baig to bless the couple.
On the morning of March 5, 2026, the formal wedding ceremonytook place at The St. Regis Mumbai. The sacred ceremony was set beneath a breathtaking 270-degree centre mandap installation. The design language was intentionally soft yet commanding: cloud-like expanses of baby’s breath layered with off-whites, blush pinks, fresh greens, and muted gold accents created a serene, dreamlike atmosphere that elevated the sanctity of the rituals while maintaining refined restraint.
Celebrated Indian singers Harshdeep Kaur and Shankar Mahadevan elevated the morning's emotional cadence. Harshdeep accompanied the bridal entry while Shankar performed the Mangalashtak, infusing the ceremony with depth, gravitas, and soul. Following the rituals, the celebration transitioned into a traditional Maharashtrian sit-down Pangat.
