Archana Gautam: The Model Turned Politician Entering Bigg Boss 16

Archana Gautam started her journey as a model when she won the title of Miss Uttar Pradesh in 2014, and she later went on to win Miss Bikini India in 2018. She started her acting career in 2016 when she did the movie Great Grand Masti, and since then she has appeared on screen several times.

The model took a turn in her career and decided to enter politics. In 2021, Archana joined the Indian National Congress and stood for the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections. However, she lost the election to BJP candidate Dinesh KaRthik.

The model-turned-politician is currently in the Bigg Boss house, and she has already snatched the spotlight towards her. She was in the first fight of the season with captain Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia during the premiere episode.

Just like all the other contestants, Gautam was excited and thrilled when she was offered the opportunity to join Bigg Boss. She has always been an avid watcher of the show and a huge fan of its host, Salman Khan.

In a recent interview, she talks about being super excited to meet Salman Khan. She says she has always watched his movies and now getting to meet him in real life was a surreal moment for her.

A few must-haves in Archana’s bag are milk packets and her traditional chutney maker. She talks about being fearless and how she would not be intimidated by the other contestants.

Archana Gautam Only Wants Love If It's From A Politician

When asked whether she would be looking for love in the house, Archana said that she had made up her mind otherwise, and her goal was to win the show, become a politician, and find an MP or an MLA for herself.

Archana’s main goal while entering the Bigg Boss house is to showcase her true self in front of the audience so that they can know her as a person and also a politician so that they are certain of whom they will vote for.

She talks about not entering the house as a politician or an actor but as an ordinary girl who worked hard and earned everything in her life through struggles while coming from a poor background.

Archana Is A Risk Taker

Gautam was not entirely sure about joining the show when she was approached by the producers. She was scared because Bigg Boss takes a deep dive into the personal lives of celebrities, and one cannot act or put up a show in Bigg Boss. The true face comes out eventually.

She was unsure about how participating in Bigg Boss would affect her image, but since she is a risk-taker, she decided to take the risk and do the show. She talks about being a fighter and her purpose in the show would be to fight and stand out as an individual.

Archana has already stolen the spotlight from the first episode of the season. She started a fight with captain Nimrit Kaur Aluwahlia on the first day about sleeping arrangements, and later in the week she accused contestant Shalin Bhanot of aggressively pushing her during a task.
