Akshay Kumar is one of the most frequent guests on the Kapil Sharma Show. All thanks to Akshay Kumar's back-to-back releases that make him reach back on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show time and again.

However, if we go by the latest reports, we might not get to see Akshay Kumar on comedian Kapil Sharma's show anymore.

Looks like all is not well between Akshay Kumar and Kapil Sharma and reportedly it is because of Akshay Kumar's last appearance on the Kapil Sharma Show. A clip that the channel agreed to cut from the episode was leaked and it went viral on social media.

When Kapil Sharma Took A Dig At Akshay Kumar Over PM Modi Interview

When Akshay Kumar arrived on Kapil Sharma's show with Sara Ali Khan and Anand L Rai to promote Atrangi Re, host Kapil Sharma was seen taking a jibe at Khiladi Kumar for his interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2019. During his interview, Akshay Kumar asked Prime Minister Modi a question regarding how he prefers to eat mangoes. His question led to a lot of trolling and Kapil Sharma hinted at the same during his interaction with Akshay Kumar on his show but without taking the politician's name.

When Kapil Sharma hinted at his interview with PM Modi, Akshay Kumar openly challenges him to take the name of the personality he interviewed. However, the comedian diverted from the subject. Watch the video here -

As per reports, Akshay Kumar requested Kapil Sharma to get the question edited from the final cut after the shoot got over because the question was in the light of PM's office. However, the same was released on the internet.

Why Is Akshay Kumar Angry With Kapil Sharma?

According to a report by Hindustan Times, a source has shared that Akshay Kumar is upset with the comedian and the channel and has decided to not come to his show to promote his next, Bachchan Pandey.

A source close to Hindustan Times shared, “Akshay took all of Kapil’s jokes head-on but the dig on the PM interview seemed to mock the dignity of such a high office. So Akshay requested the channel to not air that question. It is the right of the guests to make such a request as the show is not live. The channel agreed, but the said scene was leaked on the internet soon after.” The source further shared that it was a breach of trust on the part of Kapil Sharma's team and Akshay Kumar looks forward to a clarification from their side before he appears on the show again.

The source further shared that the promotion will suffer if all doesn't get sorted between Akshay Kumar and Kapil Sharma. The source said, “Hope all is sorted between Akshay and Kapil soon, otherwise the film’s promotion suffers, and the fans of the banter between the two continue to miss the fun."
