They might not be able to do anything technically, but celebs are trying their best to do something in this battle against the pandemic coronavirus which is taking lives of people and has taken over the entire world at the moment. While one actress has decided to become a volunteer, here is how other celebs are doing their bit.
In the morning, Viral Bhayani shared this beautiful piece f information on his Instagram account. He told us how an actress who was last seen with actor Sanjay Mishra in a movie, asked for permission to volunteer as a nurse and help out during these testing times. He wrote along with the images of Shika Malhotra: "She is an actress who was seen in the lead in the critically acclaimed film #Kannchli with actor Sanjay Mishra.
"Shikha Malhotra joined the BMC-run trauma hospital in Jogeshwari as a volunteer nurse on Friday. She has also urged all retired doctors and nurses to join the fight against Coronavirus at this crucial time. Shikha completed her nursing course from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi in 2014.
"As she moved towards acting, she never worked as one. BMC gave Shikha its approval letter and asked her to join the Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Hospital in Jogeshwari East.
She has been deputed in the isolation ward. "After passing the course in college, we had taken the oath to serve society. I think this is the time to do so," she says.
Well this is one inspiring example and then there are celebs who donated big amounts to the PM Relief Funds and other bodies.
