Aamir Khan's Daughter Ira Khan Says ‘Yes’ As Boyfriend Nupur Shikhare Proposes

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan got engaged yesterday to her boyfriend Nupur Shikhare. Sharing a video on Instagram from Ironman Italy, a racing event in the ancient fishing village of Cervia, Khan captioned it, “Popeye: She said yes, Ira: Heheh, I said yes.”

In the video, Shikhare can be seen coming over to Khan, kissing her on the cheeks and going down on his knees to propose and pop the question. At the exciting moment, she shouted ‘yes’ at the mic.

Sharing it in her IG story, Shikhare pointed to the board of one of the sponsors ROKA, and wrote, “Ironman has a special spot jahan humara roka hua, get it? (Ironman had a special spot where we got engaged, get it?)”

Celebrities Poured In With Wishes

Theatre director and storyteller Danish Husain tagged the adorable couple and wrote, “congrats to you both.”

Director Sarang commented, “Whaaaaat? Congratulations guys.”

With three heart emojis, music artist Rohman Shawl, wrote, “congratulations you two.”

Actor Fatima Sana Shaikh commented, “This is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. Uff (Nupur Shikhare) so filmy uff.”

Krishna Shroff, Siddharth Menon, Huma Qureshi, and Rhea Chakraborty were among the other celebrities who congratulated the couple.

Ira Khan & Nupur Shikhare Love Story

Khan and Shikhare have been dating for quite a while now. Both have claimed to be each other’s support systems. Khan even once took to Instagram to share how Shikhare’s presence in her life had helped her in the past to overcome hardships of life.

She wrote, “So many social occasions in such a short time span. This reminds me of a sticker from my sticker book (I never thought I’d get to use it truthfully) - Stressed, Depressed But Well-Dressed.”

She added, “I’m exhausted. Pooped. Completely. But I think I did well, and I definitely over-extended myself, but I had fun in parts, and I was mostly making an informed decision to over-extend.”

In one of the posts, Khan shared Shikhare’s image and captioned it, “Look, It’s my cutie! He makes my heart full.”

On Ira Khan’s birthday, Shikhare shared an image of her blowing the candles. He wrote, “Happy Birthday My Love, I love you so so much bubs.”

Ira Khan once shared a story on her Instagram that said she had no plans of joining the Hindi film industry. She also shared why she was with Shikhare and said, “I am with Popeye because he is a beautiful, amazing, human being.”

The two often share photos on social media with mushy captions. We can’t wait to see what the future beholds for the lovely couple.
