66-Year-Old Gives Birth to 10th Child, 45 Years After First
Alexandra Hildebrandt welcomed her son, Philipp, on March 19, 2024, at Charité Hospital in Berlin. The baby weighed seven pounds and 13 ounces at birth. Due to medical precautions, he was immediately placed in an incubator to ensure his well-being. However, both mother and child are reportedly doing well.
According to Fox News, Hildebrandt’s pregnancy and childbirth defy medical expectations, as she claims to have conceived naturally without fertility treatments. Her newborn son, Philipp, was delivered via caesarean section.
Hildebrandt has had a long and unusual journey in motherhood. She first became a mother in 1977 and later had eight more children in her 50s and 60s. Most of her younger children were delivered via C-section, but she has remained strong and active throughout the years.
Her large family includes:
- Svetlana (45 years old)
- Artiom (36 years old)
- Elisabeth & Maximilian (12-year-old twins)
- Alexandra (10 years old)
- Leopold (8 years old)
- Anna (7 years old)
- Maria (4 years old)
- Katharina (2 years old)
Alexandra Hildebrandt’s Lifestyle
Despite her advanced age, Hildebrandt leads an incredibly active and healthy lifestyle, which she believes contributed to her ability to conceive naturally. In an interview with Bild, she shared:
"I eat very healthily, swim regularly for an hour, run for two hours, don’t smoke or drink, and have never used contraception."
Hildebrandt has also spoken about her strong belief in having children and encouraging others to embrace parenthood. She believes that society should be more welcoming to children and that many people would change their perspectives if they spent more time with them.
