How To Make Peanut Butter At Home?

Here are some easy steps to make peanut butter at home:

  1. Roast the peanuts in a pan or oven. Take a little bit of oil or roast dry as you toss the peanuts into a pan until they turn golden brown. Similarly, sprinkle a bit of oil on peanuts laid on baking and try to put them in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes. 
  2. While they are still warm, transfer them to a mixer grinder jar. Grind the peanuts until they are broken into pieces. If you want crunchy peanut butter, take some of the ground peanuts and keep it aside.
  3. Keep the grinder going on for a minute as you completely grind the peanuts. The peanuts will turn completely dry.
  4. Grind the peanuts for another minute and this time you will see a soft buttery texture. Make sure to scrape the peanuts from the side of the jar to mix well.
  5. After it gets done, you can add some sugar or salt to add extra taste and oil if you want it to be creamier. 
  6. For another minute or two, keep the grinder going on to get an even smoother texture. Once done, you will get a creamy, soft and delicious peanut butter. If you want to make it crunchy, you can add the set-aside peanuts in it and add texture.
  7. Finally, store it in an airtight container and keep it inside your refrigerator. This will ensure that your homemade peanut butter lasts for many weeks.

  • 450 grams (2 cups) raw peanuts
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • 1-2 tablespoons oil (optional)

Step

  1. Step 1:

    Roast peanuts in a pan or oven with a little oil until they turn golden brown.

    Transfer hot peanuts to a grinder and grind for a minute until chunky.

    Grind for another minute or two until turned buttery smooth.

    Once done, pour it in an air-tight container and refrigerate.
