How To Make Potato Stuffing?
Ingredients Required:
- 2 medium sized potatoes
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- salt
Method:
- In a pressure cooker or steamer, boil the potato until it is totally cooked.
- Once they have become warm, peel the potatoes. Then grate it and keep it aside. You can also mash the potatoes and set them aside.
- After that, add the mint leaves, green chilies, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder, and salt to taste to the grated potatoes.
- Then thoroughly mix the spices and herbs with the mashed potatoes. Check the taste and adjust the seasoning as required. Now keep it aside.
How To Make Batter?
Ingredients Required:
- 1 cup besan
- 1/2 tsp carom seeds
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 pinches turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
- Hing
- Water as needed
- Salt
Method:
Put gram flour, ajwain, garam masala powder, hing, red chilli powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
After that, add some water as required. Mix them well. Make sure your batter is neither too thick nor too thin. If it's too thick, add a little more water. The batter is ready.
When you keep the oil for deep frying in the batter, add 1 to 2 tsp of heated oil and whisk well for 1 to 2 minutes.
How To Assemble Bread Pakora?
- Take some bread and cut it into triangle slices.
- Then, evenly spread some of the potato stuffing we made (about 2 tbsp) on the bread.
- Make a sandwich out of this potato-stuffed slice by covering it with another slice. Press it lightly.
- Then, using your hand, dip the entire sandwich in the besan batter.
- Spread the besan batter evenly over the stuffed bread sandwich.

How To Fry Bread Sandwich?
- Heat some oil in a kadhai. Slide the bread sandwich coated in besan batter into the heated oil.
- Fry them on a medium flame until they turn golden brown and crisp.
- Once they are crisp and golden brown, take them out of the kadhai, and place them on kitchen paper towels to absorb any leftover oil.
- Your bakora bread is now ready to eat. Serve with sauce, green chutney, or your favourite chutney.
