How To Make A Homemade Kulfi With Condensed Milk?

Here’s an easy step-by-step guide to making a homemade kulfi:

  • Start by adding the cornflour and the milk in a bowl. Mix the two well and keep them aside.
  • Take a deep, non-stick pan over medium heat and heat the milk and condensed milk. Bring it to a boil and make sure to stir properly. Make sure that the milk does not stick to the pan.
  • Let the milk boil for about ten minutes.
  • After ten minutes, bring the flame to low, simmer the milk for forty minutes, and keep stirring.
  • Next, add the cornflour mixture and cardamom powder to the milk and keep cooking on a low flame.
  • Keep stirring for twelve minutes till the mixture attains a thick consistency.
  • Take the mixture off the heat, keep it aside, and let it cool.
  • Lastly, pour the mixture into aluminium kulfi moulds and let it freeze overnight.

Take the mould out of the freezer and enjoy this mouthwatering homemade kulfi on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Of Full Fat Milk
  • ¾ Cup Of Condensed Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Of Cornflour
  • 2 Tablespoons Of Milk
  • ¼ Tablespoon Of Cardamom Powder

  • Step 1 :

    Mix cornflour and milk in a bowl and set aside.

  • Step 2 :

    Heat milk and condensed milk in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

  • Step 3 :

    Stir constantly to prevent sticking and bring to a boil.

  • Step 4 :

    Allow the milk to boil for approximately ten minutes.

  • Step 5 :

    Simmer the milk on low flame for 40 minutes while stirring continuously after 10 minutes.

  • Step 6 :

    Add cornflour mixture and cardamom powder to milk. Cook on low flame.

    Stir the mixture for 12 minutes until thick. Then, remove from heat, set aside, and let cool.
