Ingredients

  • 1 cup sweet corn
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • ½ tsp pepper powder
  • ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for Frying
  • For tempering
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 3 chopped garlic cloves
  • finely chopped
  • 2 chopped green chillies/red chillies
  • ¼ cup of spring onions
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Salt to taste

Step

  • Step 1 :

    Take a bowl and add corn, maida, cornflour, salt, pepper and 1 tbsp of water. Mix them well.

  • Step 2 :

    Next, preheat some refined oil in a skillet. Once the oil is hot enough, deep-fry the corn until they turn golden brown.

  • Step 3 :

    Now, heat oil in a separate pan, add garlic and green chillies in it. Sauté the mixture for a few seconds.

  • Step 4 :

    Add the spring onion whites and greens and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.

  • Step 5 :

    Next, add the tomato sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, deep-fried corn, soy sauce, and salt. Mix it well and let it cook for 1 minute on medium flame.

  • Step 6 :

    Garnish with spring onions and serve hot!
