How To Make Cinnamon Pancake:

Cinnamon Pancake

1. First prepare the dry ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon until well combined. This ensures that the dry ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the batter, resulting in evenly spiced pancakes.

2. Then combine the wet ingredients. For this take a separate bowl, and whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and well incorporated.

3. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients, and gently fold them together using a spatula or wooden spoon. Be careful not to overmix the batter, as this can lead to tough pancakes. A few lumps in the batter are perfectly fine and will result in lighter, fluffier pancakes.

4. Preheat a non-stick griddle or large skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface with butter.

5. Once the griddle or skillet is hot, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the surface of each pancake. Use the back of a spoon to gently spread the batter into a circular shape, if needed. Cook the pancakes for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges begin to look set.

6. Carefully flip the pancakes using a spatula, and continue cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter, adjusting the heat as needed to prevent burning.

7. Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate, and serve them warm with mom's favourite toppings such as maple syrup, whipped cream, chopped berries, or sliced bananas.

The warm, comforting aroma of cinnamon paired with fluffy pancakes is sure to make mom's Mother's Day breakfast extra special.
