Avocado is that one ingredient which is not just loaded with a number of vitamins and minerals but it can become a part of your daily diet in many ways. Scooping it neatly and eating it every morning is not just one option you have. Throw it in your blender with a couple of veggies and your smoothie is done. Spread it over your toast with a drizzle of olive oil and you have a winning alternative for the regular bread and butter.
So just in case you are planning a brunch and you have a tough bunch to impress, you can always count on the buttery, tropical flavour of the avocado. Here are a few ways of experimenting with avocado
Avocado Salad

Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 red tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1/2 table of black pepper
- A bunch of coriander and mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- Half peeled onion
Method
- Scrap avocados in chunks
- Slice those tomatoes and toss them with avocados in a bowl
- Add olive oil, a pinch of salt and black pepper
- Toss all the ingredients together
- In case you want to add a bit of punch, add honey
- Sprinkle thinly sliced onions and mix it well
- To garnish add a bit of coriander and mint
Avocado Smoothie

Ingredients
- 2 large ripe avocados
- One ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
- 1 glass of coconut water
- Half a cup of almond milk
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Method
- Scrap avocados in chunks
- Slice that banana
- In a blender add all ingredients and run it for 20 secs
- Check the consistency.
- In case you want it to be thinner add more coconut water
- Garnish it with a few avocado slices
Avocado On Toast

- 1 large ripe avocados
- Half a tomato
- A bunch of coriander and mint leaves
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1/2 table of black pepper
- Blend the scrapped avocado and mix tomato chunks in it.
- To add a bit of punch you can even through in some corn seeds
- Add salt and black pepper
- Toast 4 bread slices
- Rub garlic on them
- Spread the mixture, let it be uneven
- You can drizzle a few drops of olive oil
- Sprinkle some finely cut coriander and mint leaves
Guacamole

- Blend avocado with a bit of olive oil

- You can add a few corn seeds if you want
- Add salt and pepper
- Serve the dip with crisps
