'Article 370' OTT Release: Here's When And Where To Stream Yami Gautam's Political Drama

Yami Gautam's political drama ‘Article 370’ hits Netflix! After a successful theatrical run, the film exploring the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir is now available for streaming.

Almost two months after its theatrical release, the Yami Gautam starrer 'Article 370' is now set for its digital premiere. According to a post from Netflix's official Instagram handle, the movie will be available for streaming on the platform from April 19, 2024. "Set your reminders – Article 370 is arriving tomorrow on Netflix!" the OTT giant announced, along with a poster of the movie.

The Film's Backdrop and Narrative

Directed by Aaditya Suhas and Jambhale, 'Article 370' is set against the backdrop of true events. The film offers audiences a gripping narrative woven with political intrigue, national security, and pulse-pounding action sequences. Besides Yami Gautam, the movie also features Priya Mani, Arun Govil, and Vaibhav Tatwawadi in key roles. It earned over Rs 100 crore at the Indian box office.

Star-Studded Cast

The film's cast includes Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, Kiran Karmarkar, Divya Seth Shah, Raj Zutshi, Sumit Kaul, Raj Arjun, Asit Gopinath Redij, Ashwani Kumar, and Irawati Harshe Mayadev.

Previously, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also talked about the film when he said, "I have heard that a film on Article 370 is going to be released this week… It is a good thing as it will help people in getting correct information."

Defence Minister's Appreciation

Later, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also watched the film with his family at a theatre in New Delhi, and said the movie shows the "complexity" of the "problem" as well as the "challenging solution".

"Today I went to a cinema hall in Delhi with my family and watched the movie 'Article 370'. I heard praise for this film from many people. The film is inspired by true events and presents the events of the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir in a very effective manner," he wrote on his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle.

"This film shows how complex this problem was and how challenging the solution was and it also presents a good example of women empowerment. I congratulate the producer-director and all the actors of this film for their effective presentation," Singh added.
