The Raja Saab Advance Booking: Prabhas’ Horror Comedy Expected To Collect ₹8.26 Crore on Opening Day

Advance booking for ‘The Raja Saab’ has gathered solid momentum ahead of its theatrical release, signalling a promising start for Prabhas’ much-awaited return to a lighter, mass-friendly genre. The Telugu-language romantic horror comedy, which sees the star in a dual role, is slated to hit cinemas on January 9, 2026.

According to early trends and industry trackers, the film is shaping up for a strong opening day, powered by festive footfall, wide multilingual release and Prabhas’ enduring fan base.

As per Sacnilk reports, ‘The Raja Saab’ has already clocked impressive advance booking numbers across formats and languages. The total all-India advance booking gross stands at ₹3.35 crore, excluding block seats. However, once block seats are factored in, the figure jumps significantly.

• Tickets sold: 1.22 lakh+
• Total shows: 2,900+

The Raja Saab Advance Booking: Language-Wise Booking Breakdown

The Telugu version has led the charge, as expected, while Hindi shows, particularly premium formats, have also contributed meaningfully.

• Telugu (2D): ₹2.17 crore from over 78,000 tickets
• Hindi (2D): ₹3.7 lakh
• Hindi (Dolby Cinema): ₹1.12 crore from more than 40,000 tickets

As per trade estimates, ‘The Raja Saab’ has grossed over USD 1.30 million internationally from premieres and opening day bookings so far.

• North America: USD 890K (USD 715K from the US alone)
• UK and Europe: USD 230K
• Australia and New Zealand: USD 120K

With more shows expected to open closer to release, overseas numbers are likely to rise further.
