This comes after a significant surge on January 1, 2025, when the film recorded a 70.78% increase in daily collections across India. The New Year played a crucial role in driving ticket sales, pushing the movie to new heights even after nearly a month of its release.

The film’s domestic collections, reported by Sacnilk, reflect its unparallelled popularity across multiple languages:
- Week 1: ₹725.8 crore (Telugu: ₹242 crore; Hindi: ₹425.1 crore; Tamil: ₹41 crore; Kannada: ₹5.3 crore; Malayalam: ₹12.4 crore)

The production house officially announced that ‘Pushpa 2’ had accumulated ₹1,760 crore in worldwide collections by Day 26, positioning itself within striking distance of ‘Baahubali 2's record, requiring just ₹28 crore to surpass it.

Despite its massive success, the film’s release was marred by a tragic incident. A 35-year-old woman named Revathi died, and her eight-year-old son was injured during a stampede at the film’s premiere. Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13, 2024, in connection with the incident and released on interim bail the following day.
