Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Jailer has finally made its much awaited OTT release today. After an outstanding performance and collection, the movie has been released on Amazon Prime. Helmed by Nelson, this one is a black action-comedy film that features Rajinikanth in the titular role along with Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirnaa Menon, Sunil, Shiva Rajkumar. The movie also has a cameo appearance by Mohanlal.

SRK Showers Love For Thalaiva

During #AskSRK session on Twitter (X), SRK answered a fan asking him if he will watch Rajinikanth's Jailer. He wrote, "Of course I love Rajni sir….Maassss!! He had come on Jawan set and blessed us too. #Jawan."

Jailer was announced last year in February. The working title for the film was 'Thalaivar 169' since it was Rajinikanth's 169th film. In June, the official title 'Jailer' was announced'.
