Directed by debutant Murali Kanth D, this gripping courtroom drama unfolds across two parallel timelines, challenging deep-seated societal prejudices. Following its successful theatrical run, the movie is now available for a wider audience in multiple languages.

Dhandoraa is a gripping story that unfolds across two decades, from 2004, in a Telangana village. It revolves around Sivaji, a dogmatic patriarch from the upper castes whose obsession with the social order unravels his own family. Sivaji is appalled when his daughter Sujatha (Manika) falls for Ravi (Ravi Krishna), a lower-caste man, and his anger sparks a disastrous sequence of events that results in a regional honour killing and his own son Vishnu’s (Nandu) lifetime of disconnection.
The movie then moves to the present, in which the village gets turned upside down after the sudden death of Sivaji. When Vishnu gets ready to return to carry out the last rites of his father, he sees that his father, in death, is affected by the very thing he supported in his life, in the form of the caste system, when the village leaders stop his cremation from taking place in the allotted spot.
The Telugu film stars Sivaji in the lead role and Bindhu Madhavi, Nandu Vijay Krishna, Shree Nandu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Raadhya, Ravi Krishna, Muralidhar Goud, Navdeep, Manika Chikkala, Rajasekhar Aningi, Aditi Bhavaraju and Anusha in supporting roles.
The Telugu drama received positive reviews from the audience and has a 9.3 IMDb rating.
