The Golden Globe Awards, which honour excellence in film and television, are one of the most prestigious events in the entertainment industry. The 81st Golden Globes 2024 was held on January 7, 2024, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The nominees for Golden Globe Awards 2024 were announced on December 11, 2023. Two new categories were also introduced for the ceremony: Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

The Golden Globe Award is as big and prestigious as the Academy Award and Emmy Award. After undergoing major changes including new ownership and the addition of new categories, the night saw thrilling surprises and familiar faces taking home trophies.

The event, which was streamed on Paramount+ and broadcast live on CBS from the Beverly Hilton, was hosted by comedian and actor, Jo Koy.
