In a mixed bag of box office performance, Kangana Ranaut's latest directorial venture ‘Emergency’ has managed to cross the Rs 10 crore mark in its first four days of theatrical release, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.com. The political drama, centred around former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's controversial period of Emergency, witnessed significant fluctuations in its daily collections.
Emergency's Day 4 Box Office Collection
As per early estimates by Sacnilk, 'Emergency', directed by and starring Kangana Ranaut, earned ₹0.44 crore net in India on Day 4. This marks a sharp decline from the previous day’s earnings, where the film earned ₹4.35 crore on Day 3.
The film opened to moderate numbers on Friday, collecting Rs 2.5 crore on its first day. The weekend saw an upward trajectory, with Saturday bringing in Rs 3.6 crore, marking a substantial 44% increase from the opening day.
