Kapoor’s new action role reminds many of his well-known character, ‘Kabir Singh.’ However, this new character is different; instead of being a heartbroken lover, Kapoor plays a vigilante cop. Here is the trailer for Shahid Kapoor’s latest movie, ‘Deva.’ 

Shahid Kapoor and Zee Studios have just released the much-anticipated trailer for their new movie, ‘Deva’. The trailer, which lasts over two minutes, begins with slow, moody shots of Mumbai paired with a deep voiceover from Shahid Kapoor as Deva. He talks about the tragedy of the death of fellow police officers, explaining how those responsible disrupted their lives in their space and that he will now seek revenge by going into every dark alley and corner and killing those responsible.

As the trailer progresses, the pace quickens, showing Shahid in action as he takes on the role of a fierce vigilante cop. We see him as a determined character set on revenge. We see moments of hesitation from Shahid’s character, hinting at an internal struggle as he grapples with whether to shoot criminals.
