‘Border 2’, the much-anticipated sequel to the 1997 patriotic blockbuster, hit theatres on January 23, 2026, and early audience reactions have already started pouring in on social media.

Starring Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan in lead roles along with other popular actors like Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, the movie is ensuring some passionate discussions online. Film critic Sumit Kadel expressed similar sentiments, praising the performances of the lead actors, especially Varun Dhawan in the film.

‘Border 2’ is a film directed by Anurag Singh, known for directing films like ‘Kesari’ and’ ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo.’ The film is a sequel to JP Dutta’s cult classic ‘Border’ released in 1997.
