Bulbbul
Starring Tripti Dimri and Avinash Tiwary in the lead roles, Bulbbul is a period horrorfilm based on child marriage. The movie revolves around a child bride and her journey from innocence to strength. Though the movie failed to perform well at the box office, it received positive reviews from the critics.
7 Khoon Maaf
Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ is an Indian language film based on the story of a femme fatale. The unending quest for the love of an Anglo-Indian woman causes six deaths. While the commercial success data of the movie is not available, Priyanka Chopra won the Critics’ Choice Best Actress Filmfare award. Vivaan Shah, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irrfan Khan, Annu Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, and Usha Uthup are also seen in pivotal roles.

NH10
Anushka Sharma starrer action-thriller movie, NH10 is based on the story of a young couple whose road trip went wrong after they encountered a group of violent criminals. Lacking justice, the wife took the law into her own hands and took revenge on the criminals.
Khoon Bhari Maang
Directed by Rakesh Roshan in 1988, the movie features Rekha in the lead role. Starring as the female protagonist, she takes revenge on her husband after being betrayed and almost killed. The movie received both commercial success and positive remarks from critics.
