From Sholay’s Jay-Veeru to Sonu Ki Tittu Ki Sweety’s Sonu and Tittu, we have all heard people give misaal of friendships like that of these characters and we have yearned for such friendships all our lives. However, except for Monica and Rachel from the American sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S, we have rarely heard people give examples of many female friendships or it is something that is underrepresented in Bollywood.
Instead, more often than not women are set against each other either for careers or a man or in domestic lives. Here are five example of women friendships who were there for each other through thick and thin and became more than their families.
