Amaran, inspired by the non-fiction book "India's Most Fearless," brings to life the courageous true stories of Indian soldiers during the 2016 surgical strikes. Sivakarthikeyan stars as Major Mukund Varadarajan, a Rajput Regiment officer who made the ultimate sacrifice in 2014's Qazipathri Operation, earning the Ashok Chakra posthumously. Sai Pallavi plays Indhu Rebecca Varghese, Mukund's wife.
