Meiyazhagan’s Plot
The movie follows the story of Arul, who in 1996, bids farewell to his hometown, Thanjavur, after his ancestral house is partitioned among his relatives. Taking the broken pieces of their hearts, Arul, along with his father, a school teacher, mother, Vallu, and younger brother relocate to Madras. After a 22-year leap, Arulmozhi Varman returned to Thanjavur to attend his cousin’s wedding. Upon his arrival, he has to confront memories of the life he left behind. Amidst all this, he meets a cheerful, enigmatic stranger who seems to know him well, while Arul struggles to remember him.
