HZ Womenpreneur Awards 2023: The Line Up Of The Quintessential Winners

HerZindagi held the HZ Womenpreneur Awards 2023 today at The Oberoi, New Delhi to celebrate the contribution of women in various poignant fields. The event was star studded with a lineup of inspirational women. Read on to find out who all took the big prize home.

In a much awaited and starry awards night held in the capital city of New Delhi earlier today, Jagran New Media’s digital women’s lifestyle vertical HerZindagi hosted their signature property the HZ Womenpreneur Awards 2023 with the aim to recognise the efforts and distinguished achievements of women coming from the various walks of life.

Here we bring our readers the lineup of winners in the various categories.

Woman Icon of the Year – Swati Piramal, Vice Chairperson, Piramal Enterprises

Swati Piramal is an Indian scientist and industrialist and the vice chairperson of Piramal Group, a business conglomerate with interests in pharmaceuticals, financial services, real estate and glass packaging. Their average annual turnover looks like ₹ 3318.54 Crores. The Group has offices in over 30 countries and a global brand presence in more than 100 markets, and operates with over 10,000 people worldwide from 21 diverse nationalities.

Within the Business Woman of the Year category, there were two awards namely the following:

Business Woman of the Year – Tage Rita, Entrepreneur, Investor & Founder, Lambu Subu Food and Beveragestage

Tage Rita has developed India's first kiwi winery with the brand 'Naara Aaba' and put Northeast India on the map of wine tourism with a range of world-class premium wines made from locally sourced organic fruits.

Gamechanger In Business – Ankita Sheth, Founder, StayVista Pvt. Ltd.

Ankita Seth from StayVista has created an exclusive stay experience within a four-hour drive/two-hour flying distance of big gateway cities in India. StayVista raised a pre-series A funding of $1.2 million in 2020 and a Series-A funding of $5 million in 2022, mainly led by DSG Consumer Partners and Capri Global. In March 2022, they rebranded from Vista Rooms to StayVista, signaling their shift to managed villa stays and curated experiences.

Woman Social Entrepreneur of the Year - Laxmi Idulwar, Udan Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd.

Laxmi Idulwar is a woman from the tribal community of Maharashtra (Gadchiroli), which is infamous for being a 'Naxalite area'. She motivated women from her community to come together to build solar lamps. The average company revenue looks like ₹ 12 Cr.

Woman Influencer of the Year – Zahra Jani, Social Influencer & Blogger, Beingmom_andbeyond

Zahra Jani is a digital creator and influencer, aiming to create a supportive and inclusive community for mothers to share their experiences, challenges, and solutions. Her average company revenues look like ₹ 1,50,000 per month.

Student Entrepreneur of the Year – Ayushi Joshi, Moodflip Chocolates

Ayushi Joshi is the founder and organisational manager of Moodflip Chocolates, an upcoming Indian brand that wants to provide relief to menstruators from menstrual cramps and other PMS symptoms.Her average company revenues look like ₹ 50,000.

E-commerce Brand of the Year – Soumya Kant, Co-founder, Clovia, Purple Panda Fashions Pvt. Ltdsoumya

Soumya Kant is the co-founder & Chief Growth Officer at Clovia, a premier D2C fashion, lingerie, and personal care brand for the urban millennial woman. Their average company revenues look like ₹ 200+ Cr, 65% of which comes from repeat customers, 62% comes from Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns.

Woman Rising Star of the Year – Nishtha Yogesh, Founder & CEO, Hunar Online Courses

Nishtha founded Hunar Online Courses to empower women with skills and opportunities. It is the leader in its space with a community of 20 lakh women, 45,000 skilled students and 6,000 entrepreneurs.

Woman Rising Star of the Year – Srishty Jain, Founder & CEO, CoLLearn Education

Srishty Jain, the founder and CEO of CoLLearn Education, was raised by a single mother who completed her studies after 14 years of her marriage to raise her independently in the 90s.Their average company revenues are ₹ 60,00,000.

Within the Woman CEO of the Year category, there were two awards namely the following:

Woman CEO of the Year – Aakanksha Bhargava, CEO, PM Relocations (PMR)

Aakanksha Bhargava is the CEO of P.M. Relocations Pvt Ltd (PMR), is the Relocation Service Industry Queen of India. Through her vision, diversity, value centric and dynamic approach, PMR has grown from an annual turnover of INR 54 crore in 2020 to INR 134 crores in 2021 and is currently at ₹180cr.

Gamechanger CEO – Pallavi Utagi, SuperBottoms

Pallavi Utagi is the founder & CEO of India's no. one brand of sustainable mom and baby essentials, SuperBottoms, which is backed by leading investors such as DSG, Saama, and Titan Capital.The brand has recently raised Series A1 funding and is now valued at 300 cr+ and the company’s current revenues are ₹ 40Cr.

Sustainable Brand of the Year – Nikita Barmecha, Co-founder, EcoRight Private Limited

Nikita is the co-founder & CEO of EcoRight, a sustainable lifestyle brand that creates eco-friendly products from organic cotton, recycled plastic bottles and bioplastics. Their current company revenues look like ₹15,00,00,000.

Creative Industry Entrepreneur of the Year – Neha Purohit, Co-founder, Kalānkit

Neha Purohit is the co-founder of Kalankit is a D2C lifestyle brand featuring unique artworks by talented artists from India.It has registered a revenue of ₹ 20 Lakhs in the financial year till now and is looking to close this year in between ₹ 25-30 lakhs.

Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year – Hemalatha Yadki, Vibha Fashion Wear

Hemalatha Yadki is a passionate fashion designer and leader driven by an ideology of creating a fashion brand for women by women.Their company revenues on an average are ₹ 30+ Cr.

Lifestyle Entrepreneur of the Year – Sidha Saji, founder of Eatn'tunes

Sidha Saji is the founder of a food delivery service called Eatn'tunes. It is a specialised diet food delivery service in Thrissur with a dietician to personally customise the diet, if you don't have one yet. Their company revenues on an average are ₹8,00,000.

Fintech Entrepreneur of the Year – Priyanka Kanwar, Co-founder, Falcon

Priyanka is a fintech entrepreneur who is building Falcon, a full-stack Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform that lets any bank, NBFC, and company launch next-generation fintech products in as little as a day on an innovative pay-as-you-go model.Their company annual revenues on an average are USD 9.8 Mn as of Jan 2023 and ₹29 CR operating revenue as of December 2022.

Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year – Sadiya Naseem, founder & CEO, Glam Studio

Sadiya Naseem is the founder and CEO of a dynamic entrepreneur with a combination of business and technical skills. Their average annual revenue looks like ₹5 Cr.

Within the Technology Entrepreneur of the Year category, there were two awards namely the following:

Technology Entrepreneur of the Year – Smridhi Goyal, Seyko Innovations
