How Divya Jain Is Helping Children And Women To Learn And Grow
Talking about how Divya Jain's Seekho has been helping children and India’s youth, she said they are working in 12 states, including Chhattisgarh, Assam, Orissa, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh. “I think every state is different from each other in terms of its nature, requirements, and essentiality. In the northeast we found that women are quite strong, they want to work, so they do logistics or healthcare.”
Giving an example of how she and her team helped children to learn, she said, “A girl from Orissa came to our centre to study. After completing the course, she landed a job in a manufacturing firm in Delhi. She sent her first salary to us, filling the whole village with pride. She emphasises the importance of financial independence, stating it's crucial not only for education but also for personal independence.”

Women do face a lot of challenges in every sphere of work. “Being a woman entrepreneur is also very difficult as we have to bring a different skill set and manage everything from family to work”, said Divya Jain.
Change is a very slow process. We have to try and understand the process of change. Another big challenge for her was maintaining a balance in her personal and professional life. Reflecting on this, she emphasised the importance of embracing challenges rather than avoiding them.
