Just taking a few minutes out of your day can help you improve your eyesight. Read this article to know how some easy and quick exercises can improve your eyesight.
Focus On TheClosest And Farthest Objects Alternatively
First, you have to sit on the floor of your room, then pick a pencil and maintain a distance of six inches between the pencil and your nose. Now, stare at the pencil for a few seconds and then quickly shift your focus to an object placed about 10 to 20 feet away from you. After a few seconds, return your gaze back to the pencil and repeat this process for a few seconds. Doing this 10 times a day can help you improve the flexibility of your eyes.
Eye Rolls
Rolling your eyes can help relieve strain. All you have to do is look to your right and left side multiple times without moving your head and repeat this in up and down motion several times.
Follow Number 8
For this, you have to keep your focus on something 10 feet away from you and trace along an imaginary figurine of the number eight. Doing this for thirty seconds repeatedly, alternatively changing the direction helps you improve your eyesight, strengthen your eye muscles, and improve flexibility.
Follow The 20-20-20 Rule
Famously known as the 20-20-20 rule, this exercise helps you prevent eye strain. You have to take a break every twenty minutes to glance at an object stationed at 20 feet distance from you and keep your focus for about 20 seconds.
Palming
A very simple and soothing exercise for your eyes is palming. You are required to sit comfortably first and set your spine straight. Then, make your palms warm by rubbing them against each other and then, place them gently over your closed eyes. This will help you relax your eye muscles and ditch the strain. Try to relax and take deep breaths with the palms over your eyes for a few seconds.
