Sexologist, Prakash Kothari, shared tips that could help us in working on it.
Kothar told a media house that Stress is a major factor which can make or break a person's intimate and personal life for that matter. If we practice yoga, then it could help monitor the stress levels and increase our stamina, and our ability to do more and better in our intimate lives. How it works you ask? Yoga asanas help in supplying extra oxygen to the cerebral tissues.
"Daily stress, smoking, alcohol, and excess sugar intake - all hamper sexual performance in both men and women to a great extent. Yoga calms the mind and helps increase blood flow to the private parts," Kothari, told a media house.

For the same, the expert has suggested two postures and that is Shavasana (corpse) and Vajrasana (kneeling). Shavasana works on your senses, reduces anxiety and blood pressure, and facilitates a healthy sleeping pattern. Vajrasana makes our body healthier and stronger.
Kothari said: "Vajrasanaalso helps in digestion which is key to good health and increases the flow of blood to the whole body. Yogic practices help in reducing stress and anxiety, which are wearing you down mentally. It helps to reduce fatigue and improving muscle strength. Yogasanas help in increasing the pelvic and back muscle strength as well. Yoga teaches you to have a sound body and mind, which has a positive effect on all your functions including sexual functions."
Other yoga asanas which are helpful for a better intimate life as they increase our flexibility and boosts stamina, include Setu Bandhasana, Urdhva Mukha Svanasana, Balasana, Padmasana, Kandharasna, Badha Konasana, Titali Asana, Kapalabhatti Kriya (in a controlled way)Marjaryasana, and Nadi Shodhana Pranayama.
"It calms the mind, yoga improves the dialogue between the two individuals that leads to intimacy in the bedroom, and beyond," Jyoti Kapoor Madan, senior consultant (Psychiatry) at Gurgaon's Paras Hospitals, told a media house.
